Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Mark has been training since 1990 in a veriety of arts. However, Mark's love and passion is for Jiu Jitsu. Mark earned and tested for his purple belt under one of Rickson Gracie's Black belts Luiz Claudio, Then on to earning his brown belt in 2009 from Ryan Gracie Black belt Renato Migliaccio. Over the past years Mark has earned two stripes on his brown belt, both coming from Jonatas Novaes a Black belt under multi world champion Rodrigo Medeiros.
Khun Kru Jon Cichon
Muay Thai
Jon began his martial arts training in 1990 when he was just four years old in American Karate. As he grew older, so did his passion for martial arts. Jon's Muay Thai training began in Iowa under Ajarn Dean Lessei, who later awarded him with his instructor certification. Under Ajarn Lessei's giudence, Jon tested for is instructor certifiaction under Ajarn Surachai "Chai" Sirisute, and received the title of Kuhn Kru.
Jon has also trained on a number of occasions with World Muay Thai Champions Saekson Janjira and Samart Paykaroon. Prior to returning to the Madison area, Jon was an active trainer and competitor for The Cellar Fight Team and Team Singto. Jon has over seven years of teaching experience and is also a 3rd Degree Black Belt in American Karate.
Jonatas Novaes
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt
Jonatas is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has great MMA skills to teach all that wish to learn. This well gifted student of "Comprido" Team Brasa, has won many tournaments in Brazil, over seas and here in the USA. Jonatas has had the chance to train and learn from some of the best Jiu-Jitsu players in the game today, and brings many years of technique to the table. He is a great teacher and his knowledge is an open book to our students.
